It's easy to forget to look for inspiration. Creativity is a cycle, and one that needs feeding. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change from one form to another. So when the pressure piles on and we feel like we need to just produce, produce, produce, it's no surprise that creativity fails to flow. Being a creative, let alone someone in their twenties, often means you desperately feel the need to prove yourself. And pressuring yourself to do the work, or to achieve the end goal, is counterproductive. Instead, channel that energy into getting inspired. Berate yourself into going outside, or calling a friend, or driving somewhere new, or listening to a new artist, and devote yourself to it. Just for that short stretch of time. Treat that as your hard work. Bring all your attention to it and let the inspiration come. Feel the pressure subside and welcome the creativity that follows.

Here are some photos that otherwise would not exist if I hadn't put my focus on inspiration.
