photography walks #3

Whilst visiting family over the Christmas period, I took some photos in the RHS garden Hyde Hall, in Chelmsford. It was finger-bitingly cold, but worth it for the chance to shoot some new stuff. The sky was very overcast on this day, which is not unusual for these winter months. It's good to get out and take photos of what you can, even when the light is rather lacklustre, as the more excuses you make before even leaving the house with your camera, the less opportunity to exercise your creativity. For anyone feeling deep in the January blues, getting outside for a photography walk is a great way to reconnect with nature and find appreciation in the little things around you, as preachy as it sounds.
